We aspire to be a spiritually dynamic and participative Christian community seeking to know Christ and make Him known. |
Background
We were originally formed in 1986 as part of Kings Church Reading, and established as a non-denominational evangelical church in our own right in 1999. We are now based in Wokingham, Berkshire. We play an active part in Churches Together in Wokingham and work with Christian groups locally and elsewhere in the UK. We also have strong links with churches and individuals overseas, especially in Nepal, Asia and Africa. We are members of the New Frontiers group of churches and the Evangelical Alliance.
Our congregation is multi-generational, comprising over 200 adults, children and young people. We aim to be a friendly and welcoming group with an informal approach to our meetings. We believe that what the Bible teaches is relevant and meaningful today, and we are committed to the practical outworking of our faith in our everyday lives and in the local community.
