Every day when we awake we pay close attention to our physical needs. From cleaning our teeth to taking a shower; from choosing appropriate clothes for the day ahead, to feasting on breakfast. A quick read through the headlines gets the brain into gear, and a last look in the mirror assures us we're in good shape.

"Aah, that's me ready to face another day - in my own strength!" We've prepared our body, and that's made the soul feel OK but whose looking after our spirit's needs? 1 Thess. 5:23 says I am body, soul and spirit - a trinity in my own right! I am three in one.  Just as our body and soul need "food" to survive, so does our spirit - and God has provided the nourishment it needs right there in His Word. But where to read?
