“Après church was an idea born from one too many lattes. We are just a group of friends looking to get to know God better together. We want to explore Christianity and to share that journey with anyone open and honest enough to join in.”

Apres Church started February 2007 when a group of friends from the church, with a variety of guests, started to meet in Café Nero, Peach Street, Wokingham, to drink good coffee and also to discuss a variety of topics connected with Christianity. (The above quote is from one of the original group) Since then, it has seperated into two seperate groups. One group meets after the Kings Church service (from about 12:30pm) to eat, drink and chat. A second group, called Deeper, continues to meet to discuss a variety of topics and to drink the coffee, which is even better now! This group meets between 4:00pm and 5:30pm. You don't have to come to church to be welcome at any of these groups!
