We aspire to be a spiritually dynamic and participative Christian community seeking to know Christ and make Him known.

Sunday Mornings at the Youth and Community Centre

Although no two Sunday morning meetings are the same, there is a general pattern which we hope will allow new guests and visitors to feel comfortable and relaxed during their time with us. Our meetings are intended to encourage each person to discover a faith in Jesus that it is meaningful and relevant to daily life.

At 10.15am when people arrive there is time for coffee and a chat. The worship meeting begins at 10.45am with announcements, brief news or testimonies and some songs. Around 11am, the younger children are invited to go to their age-group activities. Parents can take children through to their groups and then rejoin the main meeting once they are settled. At the end of the praise and worship time, the teenagers usually leave for an organised time together, while the adults remain for teaching and sharing God’s word from the Bible.

The meeting ends at around mid-day, when there is an opportunity to talk or for quiet prayer with those who would like to do this. We recognise that many of our visitors on Sunday mornings are new to our Church, and trust that the time will be of benefit.

Cell Groups - around Wokingham

The church members meet during the week in small groups, generally made up of 8-12 people, in each other’s homes or at Kings House.  These groups are called Cell groups (as they are smaller parts of the main church).  Most Cells meet in the evening, but a few get together during the day, and some Cells are age-based (youth, retired, etc). In Cells we aim to grow in our understanding of Jesus, and how to apply what the Bible teaches to our lives and situations, to worship God and pray for each other, and through the friendships that form in cell to encourage and support one another.
