Launched in 2001, the Kings Church Golf Society for men holds around half a dozen Golf Days each year during the March – October period. These generally take the form of a Saturday or Sunday afternoon 18-hole Stapleford competition, with the emphasis very much on "a group of friends meeting to play golf" rather than any intense competitive rivalry.

We play on local courses in the Wokingham area, and always follow our rounds with a meal. We have also ventured out into coaching days, post-golf barbecues (with families encouraged to attend) and an annual weekend away. In September 2003, 14 of us went to Dorset and enjoyed two rounds of golf either side of dinner and an overnight stay in a local hotel, while in 2004 we went to Staverton Park Golf Club in Northants. We also hold an end-of-season Gala Dinner in October, to which wives and partners are invited, and at which awards for the year are presented.
