About Us

We are currently made up of 140 adults, 40 children and about 30 young people. The church was formed in 1986 as part of a group of churches called Kings Church Reading, which originated in 1949. Since 1999, Kings Church Wokingham has operated as an independent local supported by our charitable Trust.

In our commitment to the Christian faith we aim to be a friendly and welcoming group with an informal approach to our meetings, while being committed to practical outworking of the Christian faith.

If you want to find about more about what it means to be a Christian, we run an alpha course which aims to give the opportunity to discuss the basics of Christianity in a relaxed environment.
